Don't forget

FROM October 1, the following changes to the national minimum wage took place:

  • Date: 08 October 2015

The adult rate increased from £6.50 to £6.70 per hour

The rate for 18 to 20 year olds increased from £5.13 to £5.30 per hour

The rate for 16 to 17 year olds increased from £3.79 to £3.87 per hour

The apprentice rate increased from £2.73 to £3.30 per hour (for under-19s and over-19s in their first year of the apprenticeship)
