THE date for healthcare teams to submit entries for the BMJ Awards 2018 has been extended to 2 February.
The BMJ Awards - with headline sponsorship from MDDUS - celebrate excellence and innovation among healthcare teams across the UK in a range of fields, including cancer care, diagnostics, palliative and hospice, dermatology and clinical leadership. MDDUS will also sponsor the Primary Care Team of the Year award.
There will be a special honour for Outstanding Contribution to Health for an individual who has helped improve health and healthcare in the UK, as well as UK Research Paper of the Year.
For the first time, judging will take place on the same day as the awards ceremony. Teams will be invited to present their work and hear from fellow nominees.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 10th at the Park Plaza Westminster in London.
