HOSPITAL doctors can sign up for new risk seminars run by the BMA and featuring MDDUS advisers.
The interactive evening sessions will focus on medico-legal topics including consent and confidentiality. They will use real MDDUS case studies to explore key principles, aspects of ethics and relevant regulatory guidance and the law.
They are open to both members and non-members and will be taking place at venues across Scotland.
Dates confirmed so far in 2017 are:
- 25 October, 5.45pm – Crosshouse Education Centre. Topic: consent
- 9 November, 5.45pm – QEUH Teaching & Learning Centre. Topic: confidentiality
- 14 December, 5.45pm - QEUH Teaching & Learning Centre. Topic: consent
