TRAINEE GP groups can book a personalised webinar of their choice, hosted by MDDUS.
The risk education team is opening up its expertise by offering interactive computer-based workshops for groups of up to 50 GPST members.
As a group from your local training facility, or individually from your own PCs/tablets, GPST groups can log into the webinar via our GoToTraining software which allows participants to ask questions, share experiences and take part in polls which offer valuable instant feedback. Sessions usually last around an hour and can be arranged for a time and date that suits your group.
Popular topics include managing complaints, avoiding missed diagnoses, prescribing risks, results handling, data protection issues and GMC risks such as communication skills or working effectively with colleagues.
Risk advisers will also cover any relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, where appropriate, and will use real case studies to highlight good and poor practice.
