Jamie qualified from Newcastle University in 2015, completing his foundation training and MRCGP in the NHS. He then worked as an Army Medical Officer before retiring from the military in 2024. Before going into medicine Jamie gained an LLB(Hons) in Scots Law.  He joined MDDUS in 2025.
